Linkvector ("we," "us," or "our") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. RhythmRehab (the "App") is an assistive tool specifically designed for stroke and hemiplegia rehabilitation. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, particularly your health and motion sensor data.
1. Data Collection and Usage
To facilitate core functions such as "Arm Suspension Wake-up" and "Grip Strength Training," the App requires access to the following data. We strictly adhere to the principle of Data Minimization.
1.1 Motion & Fitness Sensor Data
Purpose: To enable the "Arm Suspension Wake-up" feature.
Description: We read real-time accelerometer and gyroscope data from your Apple Watch to monitor arm lifting gestures and suspension status.
Privacy Protection: This raw sensor data is processed locally on your device only to trigger the wake-up function. It is never uploaded to our servers.
1.2 HealthKit (Apple Health)
Purpose: To track and record your training outcomes and rehabilitation progress.
Data Types: Grip Strength, Active Energy, and related metrics.
Description: Upon your explicit authorization, the App writes training data to the Apple Health app and/or reads data to generate progress charts.
Strict Restrictions: We will never use your HealthKit data for advertising, marketing purposes, or sell it to third-party data brokers.
1.3 Camera and Vision Data
Purpose: To support AI-based posture correction and assistance (in future updates).
Description: All visual analysis is performed on-device using Apple’s Create ML technology. Video streams are neither recorded nor uploaded.
2. AI and Data Processing (Create ML)
The App utilizes advanced edge computing and Artificial Intelligence (Create ML):
Local Training and Inference: Learning of movement patterns and the creation of personalized calibration models are performed entirely on your iPhone or Apple Watch.
No Cloud Storage: Your unique rehabilitation feature models are never transmitted to Linkvector’s cloud servers.
3. Data Storage and Synchronization
Local Storage: Your primary training data is stored locally on your device.
iCloud Synchronization: If you have iCloud enabled, your data may sync between your iPhone and Apple Watch via Apple’s encrypted channels. We cannot access or decrypt this data.
4. Information Disclosure and Third Parties
We do not share your personal information with any third-party companies, organizations, or individuals unless:
We have obtained your explicit consent.
It is required by laws, regulations, or mandatory government requests.
Third-party Services: The App may use standard crash reporting services provided by Apple (which do not contain personally identifiable information) to identify and fix software bugs.
5. Medical Disclaimer
RhythmRehab is an assistive tool for rehabilitation and is NOT a medical device. Any data, feedback, or suggestions provided by the App are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment plans. Please consult your physician or physical therapist before performing any high-intensity training using this App.
6. Your Rights
You may, at any time, manage your permissions within the iOS Settings:
Revoke access to "Health" data.
Revoke access to "Motion & Fitness" sensors.
Delete the App and all locally stored data.
